Terms of Use
Last updated 30 August 2026
These terms cover the Valuation Software and the Floor Plan Sketch Tool at app.wellslovaluations.com.au. By signing in to either one, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not sign in.
1. Who you are agreeing with
The tools are provided by WELLS/LO VALUATIONS PTY LTD (ACN 656 135 705) as trustee for the Wells/Lo Trust (ABN 90 743 012 560), trading as Wells | Lo Valuations, of Level 1, 7/4 Pridham Street, Kensington VIC 3031. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean that entity, and "you" means the person signing in.
2. What these tools are — and what they are not
Both tools are working aids. They help you sketch, measure, calculate and lay out material while you prepare your own work. They are not a valuation, not advice, and not a substitute for your own professional judgement.
In particular:
- Areas, dimensions and calculations are only ever as good as what is put into them. A sketch reflects the measurements you enter, not the building itself.
- Nothing produced by either tool is a survey, and it must not be presented or relied on as one.
- You are responsible for checking every figure before it goes into a report that carries your name.
- Any report, valuation or advice you produce is yours. You remain responsible for it, and for meeting whatever professional, regulatory and client obligations apply to you.
3. Your login
Your login is personal to you. Do not share it, and do not let anyone else use the tools through it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.
We hold very little about you: your username, your password stored in scrambled (hashed) form that nobody can read back, an email address if you have given us one, and the date the account was created. We use these only to run the login and to send you a new password when you ask for one.
4. Your work stays on your own computer
Both tools run entirely in your browser. The jobs, sketches, measurements and notes you create are saved in that browser's own storage on the device you are using. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see them, retrieve them or recover them for you.
That has a practical consequence worth taking seriously: clearing your browser data, using a different device, or switching browsers will lose that work. Export or save anything you need to keep.
5. Availability
We do not promise the tools will be available at any particular time. They are hosted on third-party infrastructure, they are updated regularly, and they may be unavailable during an update, during a fault, or because a hosting service we depend on is down. Plan your work on the basis that either tool could be unavailable when you need it.
6. The tools remain ours
The tools, their code, their design and everything in them stay our property. Signing in gives you permission to use them for your own work while we allow it. It gives you nothing else.
You must not copy, save, extract, republish, sell, decompile, reverse-engineer or adapt any part of the tools, or make them available to anyone who does not have their own login from us. This applies to the underlying files as much as to what appears on screen.
7. Acceptable use
Use the tools for their intended purpose and nothing else. Do not attempt to gain access to anything you have not been given access to, interfere with how the tools run, or use them in any way that is unlawful or that could damage our reputation or anyone else's.
8. Ending your access
We may suspend or withdraw your access at any time, with or without notice, and we do not have to give a reason. You can ask us to close your account whenever you like. Sections 2, 6, 9 and 11 continue to apply afterwards.
9. Liability
The tools are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, and we are not liable for any loss arising out of your use of the tools — including lost work, lost time, lost profit, or any error in a report or valuation you produce with their help.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability rather than exclude it, our liability is limited to supplying the tools to you again.
10. Changes
We may change these terms as the tools change. The current version is always the one on this page, with its date at the top. Continuing to sign in after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
